On the morning of March 28, 2023, at Cam Ranh International Airport, Khanh Hoa Province, Vietravel Airlines officially welcomed the first charter flight departing from Daegu city, South Korea to Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam. In a series of 11 charter flights Vietravel Airlines cooperates with partner in Korea, which is expected to carry more than 2,200 Korean tourists with a frequency of one flight every five days. This is one of the important milestones in our business strategy to expand the route network and prepare for the official launching of regular flights connecting Vietnam and Korea to promote tourism and commercial trade in the summer vacation.
On March 28, 2023, flight number VU1329 of Vietravel Airlines took off at 07:05 (local time) from Daegu International Airport (IATA: TAE), Korea, and landed at 10:40 (Vietnam time) at Cam Ranh International Airport (IATA: CXR), Khanh Hoa, officially welcomed the first Korean tourist group to “the S-shaped country”. On this special flight, together with the standard services of Vietravel Airlines such as snacks & water and inflight tour guide introducing Vietnamese famous landmarks, the Golden Arrows would like to give passengers Vietnamese traditional conical hats, symbolic souvenirs of Vietnam as a way of warm greeting and promoting the national culture. Thereby, Vietravel Airlines continues to carry out the mission of connecting Vietnam to the world. In the near future, the airline will strengthen the operation of more regular flights to expand the Vietnam - Korea route network.

Ranked 7th place in the list of worth-living countries and lowest cost of traveling in the world according to a survey from InterNations in 2022; additionally, owning a long and beautiful coastline, Vietnam has surpassed China, Japan, and European countries to become top-of-mind destination with Korean tourist. According to the General Statistics Office, in 2022, the tourists from "the land of kimchi" account for the largest proportion of the total number of international visitors to Vietnam with 26.5%, reaching nearly one million visitors.
From data published by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), in Khanh Hoa province, after officially opening to welcome international tourists in May 2022, Cam Ranh International Airport welcomed nearly 150,000 tourists from South Korea, an impressive figure which accounted for nearly 75% of the total number of international visitors to this city. An explanation from the experts for this boom is that Korean tourists recently tend to have long-term traveling in one destination; thus, they usually fly directly to coastal cities such as Nha Trang, Da Nang anh Phu Quoc instead of other vibrant big cities in Vietnam.
Additionally, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) in Vietnam recorded the number of Vietnamese tourists traveling to Korea in 2022 reaching the milestone of 80,000 people. The impetus for rapid growth is benefiting from the "New Southern Policy" of South Korean President Moon Jae-in. It would grant multiple visas with a 5-year term to Vietnamese people. Importantly, Vietnam is the first country in Southeast Asia to enjoy benefit from this regime.

Vietravel Airlines in collaboration with a business partner in Korea officially operates a series of 11 charter flights on the route from Daegu (TAE) to Cam Ranh (CXR) in the period from from March 28, 2023 to May 7, 2023 with a frequency of one flight every five days and will increase the number of flight depending on the needs of the market. Vietravel Airlines is operating 5 domestic routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh with major tourist cities such as Da Nang, Phu Quoc, and Quy Nhon. Regarding the international market, the airline is currently operating direct routes from Hanoi - Bangkok, and Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh - Bangkok with a frequency of 14 flights/week in the golden hour frames.
According to data from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Vietravel Airlines achieved average rate of on-time performance at 93.0%, ranked among top 3 airlines in Vietnam. In addition, Vietravel airline's average cancellation rate was the lowest at 0.2%.
