Vietravel Airlines would like to announce a new policy regarding the change in Piece concept of checked baggage, as follows:
1. Application date: From August 15, 2024
2. Conditions:
- For new purchases/additional baggage: Passengers purchasing new baggage or with additional baggage from August 15, 2024, will be subject to the new Piece concept checked baggage policy.
- For add-on packages and baggage packages with changes according to the piece concept checked baggage policy: Please refer to Appendix 1 for details.
- For passengers who have already purchased pre-paid baggage (Weight Concept) before August 15, 2024: Please refer to Appendix 2 for the conversion policy.
3. General regulations: Passengers should choose a baggage package that suits their needs, ensuring compliance with weight, piece, and size limits. Specifically:
- Standard checked baggage: Maximum weight of 23kgs and total dimensions of 158cm.
- Each baggage package: Maximum of 1 piece. Excess baggage can be purchased for an additional fee. Maximum of 3 pieces/1 passenger/1 sector and 70kgs/1 passenger/1 sector.
- Baggage weight increase: Can be increased for a fee, up to a maximum of 32kgs/piece.
- Other regulations: Please refer to Vietravel Airlines' current passenger transportation regulations.
