SPRING SCENERY ON VIETRAVEL AIRLINES’S FLIGHT

Vietravel Airlines' successful 2024 journey was marked by safe flights, passenger trust, and shared moments during special occasions.

Continuing the tradition in the 2025 At Ty Lunar New Year , Vietravel Airlines – the airline of cultural experiences – proudly presents a collection of traditional Vietnamese ethnic minority costumes on its first day of Tet flights. This is a heartfelt Tet greeting, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of Vietnam's ethnic groups. Each costume is not just a delicate artwork but also encapsulates stories of life, customs, and national pride, collectively creating a vibrant, diverse, and colorful tapestry of Vietnamese culture during Tet.

Red Dao Costume: The striking Red Dao costume is dominated by the color red, symbolizing wealth, happiness, and prosperity. Its distinctive feature is the large, round red pom-poms adorning the shoulders and chest, believed to ward off evil spirits and protect the wearer. The intricately embroidered headdress showcases the woman's skill and status within her family.

H'mong Costume: The authentic H'mong costume is characterized by vibrant colors and intricate hand-woven brocade patterns. The flared blouse with colorful tassels, paired with a pleated skirt adorned with geometric patterns, exudes joy and the hope for a bountiful harvest. Notably, the predominant colors of blue and red symbolize the richness of nature and good fortune.

Miao Costume: The Miao costume features a predominantly black color palette, complemented by white and silver brocade patterns, creating a mysterious and unique aesthetic. The long-sleeved black tunic is embellished with hand-embroidered geometric patterns and adorned with sparkling silver details at the collar and chest, signifying elegance and royalty. The traditional headdress, embellished with silver chains and tassels, produces a pleasant sound when in motion, believed to ward off evil spirits.

Tày Costume: The Tày costume is characterized by its deep blue velvet, providing a sense of luxury and warmth, especially suited for the northern mountainous climate. Intricate hand-embroidered floral patterns and a black headdress complement each other, reflecting the Tày woman's reserved and gentle nature.

Khmer Costume: The Khmer costume is made from high-quality silk and features elegant colors, exuding grace and sophistication. The long, form-fitting dress, adorned with golden embroidery, symbolizes wealth and prosperity. The golden shawl draped over one shoulder highlights the Khmer woman's gentle demeanor. The color gold not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also represents fortune and prosperity in the new year.

Nung Costume: The Nung costume is striking with its fresh green color and vibrant brocade patterns on the headdress and waistband. The patterns often depict nature, symbolizing fertility and abundant harvests. The long scarf wrapped around the head serves not only as an accessory but also as a protective charm against misfortune.

Hoa Costume: The elegant qipao, or cheongsam, hugs the body, accentuating the feminine form. Popular colors during Tet are red or gold, symbolizing luck, wealth, and prosperity. The high collar and asymmetrical buttons are distinctive features that blend classic and modern styles.

Kinh Costume: The Nhật Bình, a traditional Vietnamese costume from the Nguyen dynasty, has seen a resurgence in popularity. Often made of high-quality silk in red or gold, it symbolizes nobility and good fortune. The long, wide-sleeved coat, adorned with intricate dragon and phoenix embroidery, and the rectangular collar create an elegant and sophisticated look.

Out with the old, in with the new, Vietravel Airlines has prepared thoughtful Tet gifts for all passengers, symbolizing good luck. To spread the warmth of the spring season, the airline has organized the "Love and Sharing - Tet Spirit" event, delivering delicious Banh Chung to the Thi Nghe Nursing Home. This meaningful initiative allows Vietravel Airlines employees to express their gratitude and compassion for the elderly, while also preserving traditional Vietnamese culture.
